We’ve been looking for quite some time, trying to find the perfect place that ticks all the boxes. A home with more than 3 bedrooms, a studio for me, enough of a backyard for our chickens, a vegie patch, an aquaponics set up, possibly the puppy the girls have been begging us for in like forever, a quiet street, good location etc etc & you know what we found one!

To top it all off our neighbours to be are Italian & Portuguese, so I can speak Italian to them, hoping they will understand me. I’m told they love to make wine, cello, jams & fresh pasta. I plan to get some great cooking tips because I need all the help I can get in that department & my family will happily vouch for that.

The house is a brick & tile place from the 1960′s with all it’s original light fittings, religious wall art, which I’m told we can keep yeeha & a delicatessen style paint job, trust me it’s very cool.

I’ve been looking for some inspiration for the interior & exterior because although it’s super cool in a daggy woggy quirky kinda way it really needs a facelift. After discussing (telling rather) rendering the house white with my man, I took off on the Grecian Santorini tangent just like designing one of my collections really, and here is my mood board with a pet or two thrown in.

Being a smaller busted woman myself, I am over the moon about her business venture & will be stalking her closely as I am now obsessed with some of the labels she currently sells. My favorites being Princesse tam.tam & Mimi Holliday. I spent hours on the web last night checking it all out, I have fallen in love with the label Damaris named after the designer herself who also designs Mimi Holliday. Very clever young lady.

So here are my picks, they are currently sitting on my wish list. I figure my man won’t mind if spend all our money on these delights as he will get as much enjoyment out of them as me right? ;-)
