Its a weird world out there. On the other side of our beautiful earth, another designer has had inspiration for her Spring Summer 2011 collection the same as the inspiration of our Spring Summer 2010/2011 and unknowingly produced a very similar product, with a very similar name with very similar design features.
We LOVE Charlotte Olympia! Sister of famous supermodel Alice Dallal, Teenage Muse to Valentino, We love her brand, her personal style and well, just her (not a wonder why, when you see the picture below).

When looking at her lovely online store, we saw that her current inspiration for her spring summer collection of shoes is Carmen Miranda. Then we spied her “Tutti Frutti Flats” which are very similar to our “Fruit Salad Flats” (whose first name was going to be Tutti Frutti Flats). Synchronicity or what? Note, even the similar placement of the strawberry, banana and orange. (BB’s are the hand beaded shoe on top, CO’s are the leather pieced shoe below)
