trendsetters…
My recent boyfriend jean post made my friend Kamma from Lorgie and Me (she makes awsome stuff check it out) and I ponder the possibility of the 90′s denim overalls making a comeback.. well it looks as though they already have! with the likes of Alexa Chung rocking it.. I say be prepared to see this like it or loath it trend popping up shortly.

I’m in the market for some new swimmers… I love all of the below.. but FAIL I need to a) be able to afford them b) fit into them and c) actually wear them in the water!.. but how pretty are they?!!

my new boyfriend…
awww sorry… did i mislead you with my post title?
so no, i didn’t get a new boyfriend today, i got myself something that requires a whole lot of less maintenance… a new pair of boyfriend jeans!
they are current elliot and I was kitted out by the lovely zara bryson
although the trend for these babies has been happening for many a moons, i’ve been hesitant to jump on the jeanwagon as i’ve been a fan of the high waist skinnies for so long and these obviously are the complete opposite.
for casual comfort these are the bomb.. one thing one must do though, unless you have ‘legs eleven’ is wear them with heels, you need height to pull them off.
after googling the trend i couldn’t help but notice the plethora of images of katie holmes rocking this look, which poses the question, did she start the trend? or am i totally off the money? would love to hear your thoughts.

At 81, Carmen Dell’Orefice is still killing it. Born in New York in 1931, she is known within the fashion industry as the oldest working model. She is also famously known for being a muse to Salvador Dali and Irving Penn.
Her last appearance, only yesterday, was on the catwalks of New York Fashion Week.
Give the woman a medal!!
